70 years ago!

Seventy years this month the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor and brought America into a war that had begun in Europe in 1939. Seventy years is a lifetime. But seventy years ago this date December 7. 1941 will be remembered as " A day which will live in INFAMY".
December 1941: The month that changed America and saved the world.
A date in history which changed the lives of many families forever. A date in history that started in stunned silence, unbelieving confusion and open grief, these were the reactions as the news of the war in the Pacific hit home.

A date in history that changed my parents life, and my life.

But the efforts by all people of the world....so determined to remain free will always ensure victory for the forces of justice and righteousness over the forces of savagery and barbarism.

So remember them, who gave their lives so we can live in Freedom.
